Located near Botanic Garden MRT and within walking distance! If you need a good Penang food fix, this is a good place to go to! Ordered the Kueh Pie Tie, Assam Laksa, Char Kuay Teow, Lor Bak, Fruit Rojak and Chendol. The Kueh Pie Tie’s flavour is light and the biscuit was crispy and fresh, much to my liking. Assam Laksa’s taste was good, but not too much fish in it, probably to adapt to Singaporean’s palate! Prefer it with more fish, like the ones in Penang but it was still good! Char Kuay Teow was great too! Similarly, this is a matter of preference of taste to the char kuay teow. I like it more savoury like this. Fruit Rojak was my best bet! It was a nice sauce towards the sweeter side and the crackers were crispy and fragrant with a good mix of rojak fruits. Will come back for my next visit to try the prawn noodles

Rating 9/10: I must say that some dishes I have never thought that they were from Penang. Also the dishes are very homecook style and taste of HOME with secret recipes Also they are cooked by Malaysians! How authentic it can be! Among all the dishes we ordered, here are the standout dishes I loved and you must try: 1. Penang style Rojak ($9): very very delicious rojak, you will get addicted to it. The rojak has Buah Long Long fruit, rose apple, mango, cucumber, pineapple, turnip, starfruit + secret weapon : crunchy fritters. 2. Appetizer platter, Belachan Chicken Wings + Loh Bak ($15): Must try! Super delicious and the chicken wings were so fragrant. I love loh bak and likewise, addictive 3. Assam Laksa ($10): unique flavour and the soup base is superb 4. Penang Char Kway Teow ($10): check out how they cook it in the wok in the video! 5. Seafood Mee Sua Kor ($11.80): Not many local eateries, if any, serve this Penang delicacy. My personal favourite if you like mee sua! 6. Curry Kapitan with Rice ($10): I have not heard this dish before! The curry tasted really unique. A must try! 7. Buah Long Long Juice ($6): this fruit in English is called great hog plum/June plum. Just ordered their takeout Their char kway teow has konjac option and it was good! The rojak is super
Best Penang style Char Kway Teow I had in Singapore. Nicely char thin rice noodles, with small fresh prawns. Prawn soup noodle was Singapore style that uses pork bone + prawn soup base. Filled with lots of ingredients. Loh Bak (Fried meat roll) is a must try, filled with chunky pork belly rather than minced meat, taste really good. Staff were friendly and nice, able to speak both English and Mandarin.
Food was delicious! Ordered the fried rice, char kueh teow, and the kueh pie tee. Pricing is quite steep which is a pity because the dishes aren't huge. Was a lovely meal nonetheless
